Did you know that you can make your own skin care and beauty products at home, using ingredients such as avocado, citrus, herbs, and even pumpkin? Here are three wonderful homemade skin care products that will sooth your soul:

Honey-Lavender Bath Soak: Mix together 2 tablespoons honey, 2 drops lavender essential oil and 1 cup of hot water. This wonderfully aromatic bath soak will relax your muscles and soften your skin.

Pumpkin Face Mask: Mix together 2 teaspoons canned pureed pumpkin, ½ teaspoon honey and ¼ teaspoon heavy whipping cream. Apply mixture to face, leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse. Pumpkins are rich in vitamin A, and this face mask will help keep your face smooth and wrinkle-free.

Orange Peel Skin Revitalizer: Mix together 1/8 cup fresh orange juice, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 egg yolk and 1 packet plain gelatin. Apply to skin for 20 minutes and then rinse. Oranges are chock-full of vitamin C, and this skin revitalizer will exfoliate dead skin cells.
